Colette holds an honours degree in Business and Law from University College Dublin and qualified as a solicitor in 2011. She also qualified as an Irish Trade Mark Agent and as a Community Trade Mark and Design Attorney in 2010.
As part of the Intellectual Property team within DFMG Solicitors, Colette advises clients on trade marks, designs, patents and copyright – in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Colette advises domestic and international clients on trade mark clearance and availability and in the prosecution to registration of trade marks and designs before the Irish Trade Marks Office and the Community Trade Marks & Designs Office. She also advises on infringements of intellectual property, passing off, oppositions and invalidity and revocation actions.
Colette also advises clients on employment disputes, general commercial matters, data protection, promotions and advertising issues and defamation.
