Karl Murphy - Associate Solicitor

Karl obtained a law degree from University College Dublin in 2004. After completion of his degree he spent a year working in the litigation department of a major multinational insurance company where he was responsible for handling and administering a large caseload of personal injury claims.

In 2006 he commenced his traineeship and was admitted to the roll of solicitors in Ireland in 2009.

Before joining DFMG Solicitors in 2011 Karl worked in the major casualty accounts team of a leading global insurer where he managed personal injury claims for some of Ireland’s most successful companies.

Karl practices primarily in the area of personal injuries litigation but also has experience dealing with employment law matters.

Karl is a current member of the Insurance Institute of Ireland and of the Association of Compliance Officers Ireland. He is an active volunteer with the Free Legal Advice Centre and is studying for a Diploma in Compliance at the Institute of Bankers.
