Margaret is a highly experienced litigator. Her clients include semi-state bodies and insurers and she has defended virtually all types of liability claims including employers' liability, public liability, product liability and professional negligence claims. Complementary to her defence practice, she regularly advises companies on risk management, industrial relations and employment matters, as well as providing discreet advice to clients faced with delicate issues.

Her vast experience as a negotiator has brought about many settlements and she is often asked to intervene before litigation to assess and resolve disputes. Margaret has been retained as an expert witness in court proceedings on behalf of other solicitors and has spoken by invitation on the management of claims.
